About us

“Naya Sawera Sanstha is often told that its aims are impossible – that there has always been child suffering and there always will be. We know. It’s impossible only if we make it so. It’s impossible only if we refuse to attempt it.”

Naya Sawera Sanstha is India’s leading independent child rights organization which is working in 17 states to make a difference in the lives of the most socially-excluded children of India. Our work in the areas of Child Education, Health & Nutrition, Child Protection and Humanitarian Response & Disaster Risk Reduction has benefitted lakhs of children in India. Last year alone we reached over 1 lakh children through our programs.

We are at the forefront of protecting children whenever disasters strike. Our work involves creating inclusive learning environments in schools and elsewhere so that the most marginalized children can reach school and get quality education. Going by the philosophy of “No Child Born to Die”, we work to end rampant deaths of children under 5 years of age in India. Another part of our work revolves around providing protection to children vulnerable to different social and physical threats. In all this, we ensure that we put children first in everything we do and champion their rights all along.

Our Global Presence:
We are a proud member of the 30-members strong coalition – Naya Sawera Sanstha, a global network of organizations working for the betterment of the most disadvantaged children in more than four countries in the world.
